From the Author
Second in series--features safer sex, child sexual abuse.
After the crisis of "Silverlake Heat," a wiser Laney Samms starts a new life as the assistant to Kitt Meyers, of Meyers Music, a women's music corporation. She is given the job of babysitting Hayley Malone, a '60s rock star who went through the downslide of drugs and alcohol and personal deterioration and ended up in Betty Ford Center three times. A bottle of sweet cherry wine always seems to appear in Hayley's life whenever she seems to be solving her demons, and Laney must find out why Hayley keeps sinking into self-destruction at this prompt. There are several hot "safer sex" scenes and a different kind of look at child sexual abuse, particularly as how it differs from what is considered "playing doctor" when an unseen adult is doing the coaching, and how a girl who finds she enjoys the premature sexual arousal is affected the rest of her life in her emotional development and relationships.
