This is a beautifully written, love story, very intimate, realistic, and heartbreaking. Just wonderful.

The writing style is what grabbed me and kept me reading. The story is good and realistic, but it is the world that is created and the main character's genuine and authentic thoughts, worries, and feelings that make it so relatable and mesmerizing. I did not find myself loving the book, and also would recommend it easily to a friend. It is a fast read and gives pause for forgiving, not heavy self-reflection.

Good book! Read it in a few days and kept wanting to read it when I had other things to do. Loved that the plot seems realistic and not an âeverything is perfectâ romantic fantasy world. I thought it took a while to get to the point that the characters had much of a relationship with each other, but enjoyed the book thoroughly.

This book was very highly recommended by several magazine book reviewers and the book description made it sound interesting. It was a good book, however, NOT what I thought it was going to be. There were a few parts of the book that actually made me a bit uncomfortable.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Couldn't put the book down, Aciman's writing style is like nothing I've read before and kept me sucked in until the very end. A must read!

Great book. Didn't think I would like it much from the description, but was I wrong.
