I want to be a pea? whats a pea? Unless Peas means peas in a pod and refers to being pregnant. I don't want to be pregnant.

Good morning everyone!  Sorry I haven't checked back in.  My sister passed away shortly after I started this thread and I got distracted.  I hope you all are doing well!

What's everyone reading?  I'm right in the middle of the last Twilight book, Eclipse.  I've really enjoyed the series!  I have a bunch of mysteries in my TBR pile, but nothing that jumps out at me to read next.  I mailed out 9 books (all at once!) a couple weeks ago but I haven't had anything from my wish list pop up since then.  That's how it seems to go - kind of in cycles.  Feast or famine!  :-)

Allison, I am so sorry to hear of your loss! I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Right now, reading a Danielle Steel, my potato chip book (like chips, not that great for you, but when you start, you can't stop lol), Echos. Actually it is really good! I will add it to my book shelf shortly :) Also reading one of Anthony Bordains books, can't remember the name of it, shoot. Just about the cooking world. SO good!!!

Thank you, Tyra!

I've heard that Anthony Bourdain's books are really good, but I've never tried one.  We really enjoy his show on the Travel Channel.  He's quite a character.

The book is REALLY good. It is funny, he has a very distinct way of speaking, voice, etc. While reading the book, you can *hear* him speaking. He writes exactly as he speaks.

I will be adding it to my book shelf in a few days, so keep your eye out. I will give you a heads up when I add it, k? :)

another pea in this pod.  I am reading a very cool book titled "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time" by Mark Haddon.  It is written from the perspective of an autistic teenager.  This young man is trying to solve the mystery of a murdered dog in his neighborhood.   Really fascinating and funny.
