I had two books ordered then canceled by the requester w/in a couple of hours. Okay, fine.

But then why did neither of the books reappear on my bookshelf, even days later, and I had to repost them? If the requester cancels, shouldn't they go back on my shelf?

Yes, if the requester cancels the request, the book should return to the FIFO postion and back on your shelf. As a matter of fact some one just canceled a book on me... I will check.

ETA: The canceled book is on my bookshelf.

Carly I have had the same problem that you describe and have often wondered about it also but do not know why the books do not go back in the correct FIFO position.
