I had a book request cancelled overnight for failure of the sender to respond to my request. It was the only copy in the system. I went to check my wish list because I wanted to add the other ISBN's of the book as well since it's one I really want - and the book was not on my wish list. Nor was it on my reminder list. I thought when a request got cancelled and there were no other copies, it automatically went to the wish list?

I had something similar happen. I had a sender cancel my wishlist request and I was put back in the FIFO line #2. I'm not sure how that happened.

E.F - you were probably put at #2 because either someone came off of vacation hold or didn't receive the book before you or something like that.

Bren, that is odd....maybe a glitch?

Yes, Bren it should have gone back to your WL....

E.F.  The rules state that you will return to your previous spot in the WL line, it does not state that you will go back to the #1 position in the WL line in a case like yours...

Check again, in case there was a delay, and if it is still not on either list, and your request wasn't passed on to someone else, contact the Admin Team (either through the blue "contact us" link at the bottom of any page, or the "Contact the PBS Team" button in the Help Center.  Ask to be placed back in the #1 position.
