I just realized this has been out for days and I don't have a copy yet. Anyone read it? Looking forward to reading it?

Oh, and if you have an ebook reader, you can buy it direct from Baen for $6.00!

Seriously?!

I thought the publication date was the week after Thanksgiving!

Darn it! Why didn't I know this yesterday morning so I could have read it on my day off?

Thanks so much! I just bought it and will probably start it on my lunch break.  I guess I won't finish that library book before it's due after all.

(Looking at the dates - there's two series I've waiting for, Vorkosigan and Dresden files and I got the release dates swapped in my head somehow...  I was wondering why I hadn't heard anyone talking about Cold Days yet!)

No wonder I thought it hadn't been released yet!  Baen itself still claims the book isn't released, even though they let me buy it.

I finished last night/this morning.  I really liked it.  Definitely worth reading.  It's not my absolute favorite Vorkosigan Saga novel but the bar for that is extremely high.

The chaos is very, very Ivan.  Just a lot of fun, and I very seldom stopped laughing or chuckling.

BTW, this is taking place chronologically between Diplomatic Immunity and Cryoburn.  Miles does make a cameo, but he's off on some unrelated business for most of the book.  And I think you can actually read this one as a stand-alone, though there's a few jokes you won't get.

I really want to read it.  Thank you for letting me know about Baen having it available now.
