Liked this book but it was slow reading. I love the Cinderella story and these stories follow the same line. I like history so I like to read Historicals and being inspirational makes it even better.

This book was just a little too slow moving for me. Seemed like the characters just kept repeating themselves over & over between h/h. Did enjoy watching the Captain's love grow for his cousins.
