I'm a newbie but also a RN who is a Comprehensive Care Manager. I teach a class in Jacksonville FL for caregivers. I have an excellent resource list which I would be happy to share with anyone who would like a copy. I can email it to you. All resources on the list have been checked by me personally. I need to do some work on it so it will take a few days for me to get ready to send out. If interested send an email with caregiver in the subject line and I will see you get a copy as soon as it's ready.

Peace to all,

Linda

PS: November is National Caregivers Month

How nice of you.  If the list is still available (I just ran across the posting, I would love a copy.  I am a caregiver to a son who is a TBI surviv;or and an almost 90 year old mother.    Any help in knowing where to find resources is extremely helpful.

My email address is pgronewold@yahoo.com

Thanks.

Linda,

I would love to have a copy of your resource list!  My sister Maureen takes care of our sister Karen, who is mentally retarded, - as well as her own 13 year old son. I worry about her a lot and I've been looking for anything that will help.

Thanks!

Gerry

If you still have the list, I would love to have a copy.  I am a grad student studying Human Services-Counseling Studies and am always looking for new resources that I can share with my clients later on.

Thanks,

Teresa

Howdy from Texas! I would love to have a copy of your list. I am an LBSW. I work part-time for a Nursing facility, home health agency, and a Senior Self Help group at our local hospital and an Alzheimer's Support Group facilitator. Resource lists are always welcomed and appreciated!!!

OK. Doesn't anyone have something particular they'd like to post about regarding how they cope, shortcuts to help others

in various matters, unusual or interesting  events that have happened?  Anything at all  they're like to share?  I'd like to say,

"God bless you all".  I never knew how hard emotionally and physically it was to have to do almost evrything for someone, how it

felt to have someone so dependant on you. It's a little scarey sometimes and overwhelming but worth it.  .
