Wodehouse is still one of the funniest writers ever to grace the English language; the only reason I'm getting rid of this book is because it's a duplicate! :)

If you've never read Wodehouse before you have cheated yourself greatly. He is hilarious, a master at his craft, and you'll meet people you recognize (even yourself).

This book was originally printed in 1916 in England.   However, this version is an audio-book and the reader, Frederick Davidson, has both Bertie and Jeeves' voices down pat.  This is a compilation of earlier short stories when Jeeves first entered Bertie's employ.  Bertie isn't very bright but fortunately for him, he has a very intelligent manservant.  All of the stories are in Bertie's voice except the last one, which is told from Jeeves' point of view.  That one shows just how he is able to manipulate addlepated Bertie, to keep their bachelor status intact (Bertie thinks he wants to raise a little girl, of all things).

Jeeves & Wooster Series
1. My Man Jeeves (1919)
2.The Inimitable Jeeves (1923)   aka Jeeves
** 3.Carry on, Jeeves (1925)

Great fun - looking forward to reading other stories about Jeeves and Wooster.
