I just remember loving the Native male lead character and his struggles with reconnecting with his culture.

An early work by Kathleen Eagle, you can tell she is still learning how to craft a great story. Shows promise, characters are well sketched, although not as deep as her later work. Some pieces/ dialogue/ descriptions are stiff and formulaic.
