While an interesting story I felt it was a bit drawn out. As a result, I felt this was not as good as the others in this series.

Howard Fast, as he was blacklisted at the time, wrote the Masuto stories as "E.V. Cunningham." Due to this, perhaps Fast let his intense dislike of Hollywood portray the people associated with Hollywood in a bad light in this book. Not, of course, meaning that he needed to deviate from the truth. :-)
