A really great book that was writte by somebody who wanted to share his life story with the rest of us, not for people to pity him but to help people just like him. And to share how being a TRUE Christian changed his life. Castaway Kid by R.B. Mitchell. I give it 4 stars. anybody else agree that has read this book.

This is an excellent book and I have read it and passed it on to others. The author who struggled with his identity due to his great losses shares the transforming grace and healing and new identity he found in the Lord Jesus Christ.  This book would be great for orphaned, adopted children who may struggle with parental loss and feelings of abandonment and rejection.  I own a couple copies! I lead an adoption support group for adult adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents and have shared this book with them.  Jody in Ilinois
