It has a page on "Cat"-egories. You make three large cats for these three categories titles: names, things, and places. Write the categories on their tails. Then make word cards for each of the "C" words. Shuffle the cards. As the student picks a card you would ask which category it goes in. Have students write silly sentences using "c" words.
It also has classifying where you fill a grocery bag or box with items and pull out items and talk about which category it belongs to. You put some items in that don't belong to any category and discuss that also. Have you child create a cat using smarties candy.
