Fun collection of Braun's first three "The Cat Who..." books. Written in the 1960's, they come across as a little bit dated, but still fun, kind of like an Agatha Christie mystery set in a nondescript midwestern American town. The characters are always interesting, and the cats always play an important role, stopping just short of the supernatural, somehow remaining quite plausible. Any fan of mysteries or cats will enjoy this series, and something tells me fans of both will adore it.

A delightful read for someone who enjoys well developed characters. The plot is quite unexpected and good. Braun does not have to resort to cheap sensationalism and smut to write a great murder mystery.
