I loved this book. It caught me from the first chapter when Logan finds Angel butt-naked asleep on his boat with his 6 year old son coming up the dock. The mishaps from Angel having legs for the first time in her life (she's a mermaid) are just laugh out loud funny. Lucky for her, Michael is a talkative boy and gives her all kinds of information without her having to ask questions that would give her away. Of course, Michael knows she's a mermaid but his father doesn't.

Of course, the book is full of fishisms but they aren't irritating in this installment. They kind of flow with the book instead of standing out so sharply as in the other two. I really liked Ginger (the flamingo). She was just too funny especially when she was giving the lizard a talking too!

It's never good when there is too much conflict or not enough but this one has just the right amount of conflict for a romance novel. I really liked the ending as Logan finally takes his head out of his butt and does the right thing. Just a wonderful, easy to read book with terrific characters. This is supposed to be the final book of the trilogy but there are still 2 sisters too go so maybe, just maybe, we'll get another installment to complete the family dynamics

While I generally, will not read books out of order in a series, I did not have a hard time keeping up with what was going on. Fennell introduced us to a world that had me humming the theme song from the Little Mermaid much of the time. This was a light romance that was fun and kept me flipping the pages until the very end. I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction of Michael and his Dad. You found yourself wanting to pick Michael up and just give him a big old hug. Fennells mer-person world was fascinating and I cant wait to get books 1 & 2 so that I know all the back-story. This was a fun, quick read and had me wishing for the sand at my feet and a long cold glass of tea in my hand.

Ms. Fennell's third underwater adventure opens with Harry the Hammerhead shark in swift pursuit of mermaid Angel Tritone. To escape him, she climbs onto the deck of a gently bobbing boat.

Logan Hardington is almost speechless when he sees the young nude woman sleeping on his deck the next morning. Although he would like to do more than just look, he quickly covers her up with a blanket so his young son doesn't get more than an eyeful.

Logan's young son is determined to have a mermaid for his birthday and ensures that his dad lets Angel stay. Angel has spent researching humans for quite some time, and this is a great opportunity for her. But she can't forget that she has to visit the sea at least once every two days or she will lose her tail forever. She takes to babysitting for young Michael, and trying to keep her wits and heart intact around the handsome Logan.

Filled with Ms. Fennell's trademark of animated, human speaking characters, and a sweet love story, Catch of a Lifetime is a fantastic addition to the series. Logan and Angel are wonderful well-rounded characters who complement each other wonderfully. You'll want to dive into Catch of a Lifetime and won't want to let go. Simply enchanting!
