I have enjoyed many of Anne Perry's books and this first one of Charlotte and Thomas Pitt did not dissapoint.

The first book in the "Charlotte and Thomas Pitt" series is a real winner. It's a penetrating social critique disguised as a murder mystery. The book explores how families are torn apart by doubt and suspicion after a series of murders occurs in their fashionable neighborhood.

ANother fun and elegant Inspector Pitt book. A puzzling case in a proper Victorian homes leads im to the love of his life. But he has a murder to solve.
Ingenious mystery and an excellent example of caste systems in the Victorian era. Clever slueths....
