Lena:  Just ran across your post asking about Celtic cross stitch or needlepoint patterns.  I'm not ready to part with mine, but I know that one of my favorite designers has some complementary small designs that can be printed from her website.  She, Teresa Wentzler, has a small cross, an ornament, and a knot work bookmark on her list of free downloadable designs.  The web site is http://www.twdesignworks.com/Free/index.html.  If you've not found anything suitable, these are small and quick and might could be done in time for Christmas.
