This is a surprisingly good book. The description drew me in, but the beginning was so technical that I thought I might put it dsown, I am so glad I didn't. It was a true thriller, but than any Law and Order Episode, but that is exactly what it reminded me of. It is a quick read if you can get past the first part which is about 60 pages, then it is a roller coaster ride you do not want to stop. Pick it up if you get the chance.

The police found Janice Jensen bathed in blood, sitting on the floor, calmly munching grapes. Her family lay dead by her side. To forensic psychiatrist Simon Rose, there was no question she had killed them. But was she criminally responsible, or certifiably insane?

"The setup is vigorous, the writing is witty and crisp and the tone, a careful balance of humor and gravity." (Publishers Weekly)

"Fascinating...different from most psychological thrillers." (Booklist)
