I have to say this one was way off the mark for me. It started fine and then went on to be the Judy show. There was little of the story that was around Ruth and I found that to be annoying. Story was about rough sleepers disappearing and the idea behind living underground in the old chalk tunnels under the cities.
Not much of a suspense story, very little archaeology and hardly any Ruth in the story.
There is a bomb drop at the end but for those of us reading the series it was kinda a duh moment and really not necessary. Hoping #10 is better.

This was a great mystery with lots of history about the airfields in England and how greed can make you do bad things.
