Tried a recipe for Challah today and was dissapointed. It wasn't dense enough. Has anyone ever tried making challah at home, and if so did it turn out delicious. Looking forward to a reply.

I'd love to learn how to make it myself!  My neighbor makes the best, but I've been too shy to ask her for lessons.  So I too would love to hear about anyone who knows how to do it!

I have been using the recipe from the 30-minute Kosher Cook book with mostly great success!  My first years making challah, every single load turned out like a brick.  I found this recipe and it works for me!   My success rate is up to 90%.

Oooh, if you have time, it would be great if you'd post the recipe here!
