It was an excellent book according to my nine year old daughter. She also said it teaches you a valuable lesson in dealing with loved one who goes away to war.

this last installment in the American Girls series of WWII era Molly is a darling addition to the complete set. My daughter really enjoyed hearing about life that Grandma experienced as a young girl. It made later years of studying WWII more personal.
