Part Two of the "Change Winds" story. This continues the adventures of two teenage girls plucked from their own universe and set down in an alternate one that is home to a multitude of cognizant species. Chalker explains in the beginning of Part Three that this is NOT a series and is a continuous novel published in three parts.

This book has some questionable adult type subject matter. Mostly just a rather convoluted fantasy epic. It's a 3 books in 1.

This is actually three books in one. The Changewind world is a fantasy world where one can travel from one "world" to another. There are horrific tornado like storms that are called changewinds. The changewinds actually do change everything that it sweeps over, people, plants, animals, the land. The main characters are Samantha and Charlie and they get caught up in a twisted situation and basically have a dangerous, scary, and life changing adventure. As you read this book you start to admire some of the characters for their honesty about themselves. I did enjoy this series and would definitely read others by this author.

I checked out when after the butch lesbian teenaged girl rescued the femme teenaged girl from the brink of sexual slavery, the femme teenaged girl made insisted that having magical whore adventures was the only way their story could progress. This book basically took an interesting fantasy hook and drowned it in old man spunk wanking over pre-adult young women.
