Cook Time: 2 min

Ingredients
  • 4 tbspn - butter, or margarine
  • 5 cups - multi-grain cheerios
  • 1 1/2 cups - plain m & m's (regular not baking)
  • 1/2 cup - plain peanut butter
  • 1 10 oz bag - plain (white) mini marshmallows
Directions

Step 1:  in medium microwave safe bowl pour bag of mini marshmallows and add butter/margarine to it.

Step 2:  in medium mixing bowl mix cheerios and m & m's

Step 3:  Measure out peanut butter and put it aside

Step 4:  Grease 9 x 12? glass casserole dish  (the larger will make them too thin)

Step 5:  Microwave the marshmallows and butter mixture for approx 2 min.  (DO NOT LEAVE ROOM, YOU MUST KEEP AN EYE ON THIS IN CASE IT STARTS TO OVERFLOW-JUST STOP COOKING AND IT WILL DEFLATE).

Step 6:  Have peanut butter ready to stir into this mix when time ends

Step 7:  Once mixed to a light brown color, pour cheerio mix into this bowl and stir fast.  Making sure the sause is all over the cheerio mix and then quickly spread into the dish.

Step 8:  Freeze

Notes

1st time, have someone do this with you.  It can harden quick so you want to be ready to mix everything quickly.

If you want, grease your hands and spread mix with your hands into glass dish so as to push it evenly into pan.

Mixing bowls will  seem hard to clean, fill with hot soapy water and let sit or scrape excess out.  It comes out almost glue like.

These can be left in freezer over night but when you go to cut, it will be hard so let it sit out for awhile to make easier cutting.

*******They get messy if left out in the heat*******************

Don't cut huge pieces, they can be very filling but can make more than listed servings depending on how you cut.
