This absolutely one of the best books on VietNam I have had the pleasure of reading. It will keep you spell bound from beginning to end. It has it all, you can actually feel yourself in his place and almost see through his eyes. I really don't understand why but the book has something that makes you not want it to end. I have read and re-read this book about 5 times and still keep it on my shelf, so I can read it again some day when I feel like a journey through time.
