If, by reading the back cover, you were expecting a novel in the tradition of Edgar Rice Burroughs, then you will be greatly disappointed. The writing was very stilted and really drags. So, somewhere in the second chapter, I skipped to the end, which also made no sense. A number of the Amazon reviews agree with me.
