This book was a real tear jerker. A good read.

That's what Lina's fortune cookie tells her. Well, she certainly has enough pain at the moment. The child she's carrying is the subject of a legal wrangle. It seems that she was artifically inseminated illegally.

Webb just wants his baby back. The child Lina's carrying is all he has left of his dead wife. In fact, it's pretty much all he has left, period. He stands to loose his ranch as well as the child he and his wife created if his luck doesn't change.

As he grows closer to Lina, however, new possibilities take shape. Possibilities like marriage. But he's not sure whether Lina sees them, too....
