Although this book is part of a childcraft library, it can stand alone quite well.
I found it wonderful for small children. Each page is brief but informative about holidays and customs around the world. There are also short stories and poems. Drawings, color and black and white pictures keep interest. It is simple enough to keep the attention of a child that they might learn yet easy enough for a young reader to read on their own. It was quite extensive in the different subjects it covered. A great book for kids.
