Very informative book! A real encouragement even after years of homeschooling. I had been wanting to teach more using "real" books instead of workbook type curriculum, this book reassured me that I could do it! This book is a great resource for new and experienced homeschoolers.

Excellent book on home education based on the principles taught by Charlotte Mason. The back of the book says, "For The Children's Sake is a book which can help every parent and teacher awaken the young minds of their children and give them a new richness, stability, and joy for living". That sums it up quite nicely; this well-written book is a must read for any person interested in teaching their children using Charlotte Mason's methods.

Tells about the Charlotte Mason style of education. Particularly applicable for homeschooling. It was written in a vague style that I don't care for, but was still interesting.
