This might have been a topic here at another time but I didn't feel like wading through all of the topics pages back. Yeah, I'm lazy.

Anyway I have a few of these on my wishlist and thought I should see what everyone here that has read them, thinks of them. Are they any good? They looked pretty good but opinions from others work better than judging a book by it's cover. :D

I have them on my TBR but haven't read them yet.  I have read the Bath 'n Body series by India Ink (Yasmine Galenorm writing under a different name) and enjoyed it.    There was a little more sex in them than I am used to with cozies, but the stories and the mysteries were good.

You should probably know also that there won't be any more books in either series.  Yasmine decided that writing cozy mysteries really wasn't her thing.

I really enjoyed the Chintz n China series, especially once Emerald settled on one man instead of doing the angst between two thing.

I read the first Bath and Body series (written as India Ink) and didn't like that one at all, even though I'm a soapmaker so it should have been interesting. As Marilyn said, no connection at all with the protag.

Yasmine Galenorn put the Chintz and China books on hold herself I believe (with quite a nice ending to the series in One Hex of a Wedding, too, instead of leaving you dangling as some authors end up doing!) as she is concentrating more on her paranomral series--she's got a couple of those going at the moment and says that's where her heart lies rather than in the 'cozy mystery' genre.

I've enjoyed the Chintz 'n China series so far. I've got a couple more to go before finishing the series. I'm sorry to hear that she's not writing the cozies anymore. I've read a couple of her paranormal books and I was not impressed whatsoever.  I didn't like the characters or the feel of the writing in those books.

I enjoyed the entire Chintz and China series, but not the Bath and Body series.  As others have said, it was the protagonist - I found her more unlikeable with each installment.
