Does anyone know of books of the Choose Your Own Adventure series (or one like it) for girls?  The ones I've found are very boy-ish mysteries or have sci-fi or magical themes (dragons, etc).  I know my niece would not be interested in any of those.

I'm hoping for something more girlish.  She likes books like Little House on the Prairie and the Mary Kate & Ashley Full House books.

I'm asking here and in Children's Books because she is right about the age where kids bridge that reading level that encompasses both.

I can't think of any for that age group for girl.   The only that comes to mind is the Time Warp Trio chapter books.  But I think they are boys also.

Just recommendation on what she likes but not a choose your own adventure.  Maybe try Little Women by Lousia May Alcott.   Or try the Little Women series by Susan Beth Pieffer.   They are older but I know they are on paperback swap.

My daughter loved a book called Follow Your Heart Your Best Friend's Boyfriend and it's a You Decide  What Happens book for 11-13 year olds.  It's isbn #0439791405 from Scholastic if you want to look it up and she has it on her bookshelf.  Her name is almond.joy68@ yahoo.com.  I think you can look at her bookshelf with her name?  Anyway, that book is there and some other ones that are probably the age you are looking for, but that particular book has the "you decide what happens" like if you select this go to page 38 and if you select that go to 45.  It's fun and good for girls.  I also have some teen books on my bookshelf.

Good luck!

You could try the "Follow Your Heart Romance" series, by Jan Gelman. I haven't read any of these, but they are choose-type books geared toward girls.
