Does anyone know of books of the Choose Your Own Adventure series (or one like it) for girls?  The ones I've found are very boy-ish mysteries or have sci-fi or magical themes (dragons, etc).  I know my niece would not be interested in any of those.

I'm hoping for something more girlish.  She likes books like Little House on the Prairie and the Mary Kate & Ashley Full House books.

I'm asking here and in YA Books because she is right about the age where kids bridge that reading level that encompasses both.

There is also a series called "Girls to the rescue" where girls are the heroins and use their brains to save the day.  These are tales that take place in different countries, I believe some are real and some are not. My girls going to be 5th and 6th grade love them.  I have several on my shelf that we have read. I am running a 5 for 3 right now.

Also American girl has history mysteries and I believe the main charater is female in those.  They also have Kit, Samantha, Josephina and Molly all have mysteries as well. Jean
