Hi all! I am relocating to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in the summer, and I was wondering if you guys knew of any:

a) good churches

b) good little book shops

c) twenty-somethings ministries????

d) any novels or books that take place in Texas.

I don't know what part of Dallas you're moving to - the only answer I have is for a church ...  http://www.calvarychapeldallas.org/index.htm

They're in Plano.

Fairpark Baptist Church (http://www.fairparkbaptist.org/ ). this is where my family is attending currently. It is medium sized--I'm guessing 300 attending most Sundays? I don't know exactly. Fairly conservative, good teaching, and an amazing music program. There are also young adults meetings for "twenty-somethings".  :-)

Las Colinas Baptist Church This is a very small church, but probably the most warm and welcoming church I've been to. The preaching there is solid, and if you want to be involved in church this is a great place to go. I get the audio-sermons as often as possible. I don't have a website for them, but the address is: 1930 Gateway Dr; Irving, TX 75038. If you are interested in a phone number, PM me. :-)

I don't know of any bookshops around here, other than Half Price Books (you can probably find the closes location to you at their website).

God bless!!
