I am again willing to order a book or two for people using my credits, because I have a lot of them. (My total # at the moment is about 90 of them.)   Preferrably for people who are short of credits and "deserving."  I don't want to solicit everybody's sob stories (or maybe I do), but I will use 15-20 of them for some of you.  Send me a note about it.  Winston

I am also selling credits for $2.70 each and have 30 of them of my December quota remaining.  I don't think I can get them for any less than that, with postage costs etc.  I have been offering 2 for 1 on my shelf to credit buyers, though.  Pay Pal, checks or money orders are all OK.

No sob story from me but I'd send you more than one book for a credit... if you see anything that interests you, of course!  I don't want you spending your credits on anything of mine that you wouldn't like. cheeky

What I need more than credits is to clear some space out of my room!!  I have WAY too many books that I can't even really get to the books I have in some boxes.  I'm sure my mom's going to flip when she sees all the books I have accumulated over the last 7-8 months!!

If you are looking for deserving people and want to buddy a credit, you should think about:

Jamie B.    vampobsessed

Their house burned down last month and she lost all her books.  It's probably the least of their worries but a little escape is always welcome. Quite a few generous book lovers contributed to a gift certificate and sent care packages for them but I'm sure she would love a surprise credit too.

You are very thoughtful to offer. Merry Christmas!

I think Winston is looking to order books for people, not buddy the credits since he most likely runs into the 50 credit limit every month.

What a nice gesture Winston. Hope your holiday season is merry.

I have donated credits to the school programs on more than one occasion.  i just want to use a few of my extra credits to order a book or two for some people as a RAOK for Christmas.  I did this a month or so ago, and, aside from a book that has gone through several senders and hasn't gotten to the intended recipient yet., it worked out well.  Using 15-20 credits like this is a good thing, I think, and Ii have extra ones.

I'm going to give this a bump because it seems to have fallen off the first page and I would still do the offer for a few more people.

Truly in the spirit of the holidays - bless you and enjoy!  A kind and generous offer.  (I do not need credits just wanted to say how great I felt your offer was.

I have updated the beginning of this thread somewhat.  Oddly enough, I am about 50 Lbs. overweight and have played SC on more than one occasion---though whether I am "jolly" or not is in question.

Winston - You may not consider yourself "jolly" but anyone so generous should not be nicknamed "crabby" either!

I don't need anything -- just wanted to say I love it when people get into the holiday spirit -- or just perform selfless acts. The world is a much better place when people spend a little time and money making other people happy and doing good deeds.

Cheers to all and enjoy the holidays!

Jen
