"The Chronicles of Narnia", the complete collection of all 7 of C.S. Lewis' masterpieces, has been read and enjoyed by millions of people throughout the decades since its initial publishing, and for good reason. The stories teach important values and morals to its target audience, i.e. children, while also inventing a wildly imaginative and diverse fantasy world anyone would want to live in. Shades of grey present in the protagonists of each book help us all see the fallibility and imperfection present within humankind. A must-read, especially if you have children. This will surely spark their imaginations and creativity!

This was amazing. I love the fantasy, it told of old and new. It is hard to put down. It is the entire chronicles. It is about 4 children and the times they have in an enchanted land.

This series is a delightful journey through worlds we can only see through it's imagery. My personal fave was the magicians nephew (excellent) describes to you the creation of narnia. how the lamp post and the white witch all arrived there. Every book following builds a world around you.

This is one of my favorite reads of all times. I have lost track of how many times I have read it, and how many times I have read each of the various books. It is a constant reminder of God's Love for all of us.

I loved this book up until the final story. I got so involved in the world and characters that I didn't even guess at what it really was until it was too late, even though the clues were obvious and right in my face. I'll just say the ending and finding out what it really was severely pissed me off, but I am going to give it another chance. I think knowing what to expect and not getting any shocks like that may allow me to enjoy it more a second time around.

I think everything that could be said about these books has already been said. But, I can't resist adding my own love of this series here. I first read "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" in 4th grade. And then again in high school. In college, I discovered all the series, and read them all several times over. I think CS Lewis is brilliant.

I didn't even realize that this series is meant to be a metaphor for Christianity. I'm an atheist, though an ex-Catholic, and I totally missed that bit in the books! But, looking back, I can see some of the Christian themes. Although, these can be easily ignored for us non-Christians.

I think my favorites are the first 3 books. After that, they're still brilliant, but I really loved one of the characters and this character doesn't make it all the way through (I don't want to give away any spoilers).

Anyway, these are timeless books. I'd give them to any child, and enjoy watching them discover the magic of CS Lewis.

This book gives more of a background leading up to Narnia the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. This starts back I believe with the professor in Narnia was a boy and shows the progression until Narnia.

This is all 7 books, starts in on page one and ends at the end (e.g. no introduction, glossary, etc., which is OK. They put it chronologically (magician's nephew, followed by the Lion, Witch, Wardrobe) which is supposedly how CS Lewis in his later years suggested that they be written, but that takes some of the mystery out of book 1. I suppose it's like reading Genesis before the Gospels.

We love these stories. They are great adventure stories, but also have layers of Truth in them that I continue to discover each time I read them. I particularly have learned about the nature of Christ and heaven from these stories.

Fantastic children's literature. There are a few points in 'The Last Battle' where the religious symbolism is laid on with a trowel and therefore not as engaging, but for the most part, this series is, for me, an amazing fantasy.
