My 6 year old is not one to sit still. And especially not to hear someone read to him. However, he sat through this book and we finished it together in only three sessions!

This book was well written for his age, though I read it to him. It inspired his imagination and taught him some facts at the same time! He wants me to get more books for him from this series.

Cannon Fire!

That's what Jace and Annie hear when the Magic Tree House whisks them bakc to the time of the American Civil War. There they meet a famous nurse named Clara Barton and do their best to help wounded soldiers. It is their hardest journey in time yet - and the one that will make the most difference to their own lives!
