This one is good enough for me to look for the other books in the series. The police officer heroine occasionally acts out of character (knows she's being watched and threatened, so goes outside to take a walk alone) but the addition of magic to the vampire storyline and the overall story were compelling. It's sometimes a little repetitive. There's also a bondage scene.
