Hi, I apologize if this has been clearly answered elsewhere. I didn't see explicit mention of such in the Help docs, & what I found via a quick search of the forum related to hardcovers for which ISBN was on dustjacket. I don't want to assume or perhaps draw an errant conclusion, so thought it best to err on the side of caution & inquire. I just need to clarify whether I can post a paperback for which a sticker was placed (by Amazon, in this case) over the ISBN on the back cover (?) - I'm not certain. The ISBN found on the interior copyright page is intact, & accurately correlates with the book. Thanks in advance for any & all assistance (& my apologies if this was readily clarified elsewhere & I missed it)... |

Yes, those types of stickers are perfectly OK. Th eonly exception might be is someone had a RC against books with stickers. |

I picked up several books off the FOL cart the other day with Borders stickers over the ISBN and I just peeled them off. I guess it depends on the sticker of course. You don't want to tear the cover. |

I had one with a sticker once. When I peeled off the sticker, the ISBN printed on the book was incorrect and pulled up a completely different book. |

Many of the books I pick up at Goodwill or thrift stores have multiple stickers that have been added at each stop along their way to this destination. Some are over the ISBN; others are randomly placed on the book. Personally I hate the look and so I remove every sticker, price tag, etc. with Goo Gone. To me, a clean cover makes the book much more presentable and less 'used' looking. I know others have recommended different products - I think one was called 'UnStick' or something of that nature, that they purchased at a scrapbooking store. I would never pass up purchasing a book to post because of a sticker - 99.9% of the time I can remove it and pass the book along. |

As others have said, perfectly acceptable. |
