Speaking of cliffhangers- ever read a book (doesn't have to be h/f) that left you screaming in frustration or just very upset at the end, because it was a cliffhanger and you knew you would have to wait some time for the next one?  My most memorable book was The Mirror of Her Dreams by Stephen R. Donaldson.  I did actually scream out loud in frustration when I came to the end of that one!

That is my main pet peeve Cheryl! IMO it's just a way to make sure that the next book sells - grrrr. That's when I usually don't buy another book by that particular author!!!!

Cheryl, I know what you mean about "Mirror".  I finished that book around midnight, and at the time, I lived across the street and over a block from the library where I worked.  Guess who ran over there to find the sequel that same night!
