Has anyone else her eenjoyed this "Miss Silver Mystery" by Patricia Wentworth? Its my favorite so far. The passage about the murderer in the final chapters was so stirring that I woke my husband up, made him listen to me read the passage, and thene xpound upon all the reasons why this was the most evil murderer I had ever read of!

I loved this book!

I am finding that someone else loves Patricia Wentworth at my public library-because they have checked out most of her books at the same time!  I have read about 10 (?) Patricia Wentworth books-I love Ladies' Bane and Miss Silver Comes to Stay.  I would also recommend The Chinese Shawl  and Through the Wall.

The Gazebo was okay.  I wanted to smack the main character a couple of times for being so timid....

I have traded almost all of them so others can read them as well.  If you have not checked out her books, I would highly recommend that you do.  There are several available here at PBS...

Will check with the library again in a few weeks...or if I get too impatient  I will go on a shopping spree here!!!!
