Excellent novel set in Ethiopia of old filled with intensity and longing. Sequel to The Winter Prince which is set in Britain, this book takes Goewin, Princess of Britain and last remaining member of her immediate family to the court of Aksum. Here she meets with Constantine, her betrothed, and the regent of the land for the emperorer Caleb. Lots of unrelieved love tension between Goewin and Priamos, nephew of Caleb and thought to be a trator by Constantine. Goewin hates Constantine and loves Priamos. Historical novel in 200 pages.
