This was an excellent book. She covers all angles of the story and keeps you involved in the story from beginning to end. It's not erotic, or really focused mainly on the hero and heroines relationship. The story line about the kidnappings and serial killer, as well as the other involved parties were really good. Normally I don't like books like these, and was surprised when at the conclusion of the book that I was jumping anyone who interrupted my concentration. Good start to the series. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I mostly liked the story. Sometimes it became too bogged down in superfluous background detail, but otherwise the hero and heroine relationship was well-developed, their banter was very enjoyable, and the mystery a worthwhile.
