My husband picked this up for me while I am on bedrest and at first I thought "Really? You thought I'd like this?" But I was pleasantly surprised to find that I did. The story revolves around a 26 year old man who has just been released from prison for busting up a bar during a drunken/stoned night. He is basically starting over (lost his job, his wife, his truck) and he takes a job delivering pizzas for a small town pizzeria. The friendships he makes there are what really made the book for me. Reminded me of my old days of waitressing...all the strange characters you meet and love. And of course, there is a murder that he and his friends decide to solve...

LOVED it! The dialogue is so well done and believable for these characters, and the relationships among male friends are heartwarming. Add to that, it's so unique! The mystery is well done. These guys are a lot of fun and Terry is great. Shenanigan fans will like this series.

Wow, this book rocks! It held my interest so much that I read it in a couple of hours. I liked the relationship between Terry & the guys at Carlo's. The way they took over the "investigation" of one of their coworkers was great. I've got the other two books in the series ready to read.

Terry Saltz is a carpenter. He got drunk, trashed a bar, and was sent to jail. He lost his job, his wife and what hurt the most..his truck. When he is released he gets a job delivering Pizza. Then one of the drivers is murdered. The cops aren't getting anywhere so he and his buddies decide to find out who the murderer is on their own.
