AWESOME! Imagine my surprise, Valli--here I am, Saturday morning, a houseful of guests all last week, all the coming week...I sneak a few minutes of computer time for myself, check in on PBS and what do I find.......just awesome! Despite its reviews, I have ordered it, will read it upon arrival and report back to the crew immediately! It is indeed my perfect tome.

LOL! After I saw the name and then realized it was Historical Fiction, I just HAD to tell you about it. I'm sure this book was actually written just for you. It probably has your name on the dedication page. Maybe the reviews don't even count because, obviously, the book wasn't being read by its intended audience. That's gotta be it! ;-) Do let us know if it is a book worthy of a Shukween. If not, OFF with her HEAD!! |
