You might try fastweb.com it has some scholarships available, though they are all competative and will not help for this fall, but will rather help for next fall. I'm not sure what to tell you...you might try reapplying for the FAFSA now that you are off work, though I think they look at your income for the last three years (I couldn't swear to that, though). I would suggest that your son talk to the financial aid coordinator at his college (should be listed in the directory...not sure what his or her title will be exactly, but you can always call and talk to the operator). They may have some ideas. Good luck. My seniors are working on scholarship applications right now, and I'm working on securing finacing for a professional degree, so I know how competative it is out there.
