Five stars all the way. Not your usual legal thriller. The main character is actually an attorney with a conscience. One of the better reads of the year.

Both my husband and I read this book and were very impressed with this new author. The book is a crime, lawyer, courtroom drama with elements of race, class, and justice. Very good.

When I first got this book, I was looking more for a legal thriller. What I got was an excellent novel which explored the ethics of a lawyer deciding between doing the right thing and the one that would advance his career.

I truly enjoyed the book. The characters were well developed and the storyline was very believable. I am looking forward to the the next book by this author.
