Fine story of what was coming between North and South.

This was written in 1961 after the success of his "A Stillness At Apomattox." (Picked up at the same yard sale.) As a life long reader of War Between The States material I quickly gave up on "Stillness", and didn't read "Fury". Catton insists upon rubbing our faces in the war as if we did it- enough already!
