I tried looking for something on this that had been already posted or something in the help doc's, but I didn't find anything.

Is this someplace that one could use to give feed back on a person...kinda a "hidden" rating system type thing?

You can put any feedback you want to in there, but I can't imagine they have time to read everything that's entered in those boxes. Most likely the info would only be seen if they had to look into someone's account for some other reason.

If the book is wrapped especially well, I say that there. If it is a multi-book order (one free with order, etc.) and the info I fill about the postage on the wrapper doesnt make sense, I say that. I have also written that the book was brand new. I also send the sender a PM and include the details about the care they have taken.

Sometimes if a book doesn't meet site conditons and I don't care, I'll list it there.

if a book was not wrapped well, torn apart by P.O. and rec'd in plastic bag, I let the person who sent it know, and the club know so they can watch if they get more on this person. Sometimes newbies don't know to use strong tape rather than scotch tape.  Just those type things.   Hugs Pat

I thought so...but didn't know. Very cool! I will start adding comments there also.

if you add comments to that section, do they get sent to the book-sender as well or are they private to the PBS authorities only?

I got a book yesterday that was wrapped in extremely thin paper.  It got completely shredded.  The PO put the book into a plastic bag.  Luckily the book was not damaged.  I sent a "thanks" PM to the sender, and mentioned about the wrapping.  Decided not to write anything to go on the person's record, since hopefully she'd take my advice about using thicker paper next time.  But it made me wonder if she would have received something from PBS if I HAD put something there...

I don't think the senders see the comments or get notified about them unless the PBS authorities note a pattern of abuse, and then the sender would get a note from PBS.  Otherwise, I don't think there is a default notification or anything about the comments.
