Church leaders have been accused of purposely excluding many books from the Bible, including the Dead Sea Scrolls. If these were, in fact, suppressed by church leaders, one will be better able to understand why by first reading the current version of the Bible. Many of these texts clearly do not fit in with the 'themes' that exist in the current Bible. These would only add to the confusion that already exists.
