I love this book. I have an extra copy so I thought I would post it. This book is a must for anyone who does any kind of needlework or textile art. It is a great reference for beginners learning a new craft or oldtimers like me. It has great black & white illustrations of tons of stitches. The book is divided in to seven parts: Crocheting, Embroidering, Knitting, Macrame, Rugmaking, Sewing & Tatting. Each part has a section on basic terms, techniques & tools and then each stitch is listed alphabetically with directions & illustrations.
