If you're into gardening the old fashion way, without any of the new, fangled chemicals, gadgets, technology, and all that, then this book is for you. It's a very old book that explains how to do things the way they did 40 years ago. There's no mention of genetically altering plants so they are resistant to all the bad things of the world. There is no mentioning of the 21st century or flying around from here to there with your power pack on. It's just good ol' common sense advice and problem solving the way it use to be done before "better living through chemicals" became a way of life.
